It is extremely important to preserve the memories captured in a photograph. Over time the paper the photo was printed on can warp, thus becoming brittle, causing the photograph to fall apart if you are not careful. The color of the photo can also begin the fade over time making them hard to enjoy.

At Scan My Pics, we offer various different photo scanning services. We are able to scan and digitize your print photos, photo albums, slides and photo negative strips. We also offer photo restoration services to preserve your damaged photographs.

Each scanning project is saved onto a CD or DVD disc, USB flash drive or online to a cloud based service.

Our Photo Editing Process Explained

We realize that just scanning your photographs is is not enough, this is why we use both Digital Ice Technology as well as manual photo editing software to remove any imperfections that may be on a photo or negative.

These methods do take a little longer to complete, but the end result will be stunning photos. Our photo scanning services feature some of these standard image adjustments:

What resolution do you typically scan photo at?

We scan our customers photos at different resolutions based on what type of photos you have. We typically scan print photos at 800 DPI, while we scan slides and photo negatives at 2000 DPI.

Can you digitize photos that are stored in photo albums?

Yes. We can digitize photos that are stored in old photo albums. We scan photo albums at 800 DPI depending on the size of the photo.
