We start the scanning process by scanning your slides at a range of 2000 and 3000 DPI, this allows for scanned slides to be easily enlarged if printed.
Slide photography became popular in the 1950’s and 1960’s with the introduction of home slide movie projectors. Many households across the country would have boxes and boxes of slide carousels filled with their memories. While this type of photography is still widely popular, it requires a lot of work just to view those memories nowadays, as you would have to find a working slide projector.
At Scan My Pics we understand the hassle of sorting through all those boxes, carefully separating and organizing each one, and running the risk of damaging them further. That is why we use the latest technology around to scan and manually edit every slide as it is needed.

We have found that taking a complete hands-on approach to editing, touching every slide by hand allows us to monitor the editing process and make any changes easily along the way.

We feel like our slide scanning prices are the most affordable around. We charge a flat rate of $5.00 per slide carousel, metal slide container, slide cube or slide plastic sheet.
